Chairing to a full house, local leader, Baroness Sharon Taylor of Stevenage OBE, opened our 2023 event on delivering sustainable quality homes.
Workshops focused on regeneration, safety and the green agenda. Conference attendees received a briefing from the RSH in preparation for the forthcoming wave of new regulation as well as a passionate call to arms from the new CIH President, Lara Oyedele.
2022
Returning after a two-year hiatus, the 2022 conference was our first physical conference since the pandemic and a return to in-person networking that was welcomed by all.
Delegates heard from Gavin Smart, CEO of the Chartered Institute of Housing and Emily Williams, a Director at Savills, on the housing landscape post-Covid. Shelagh Grant, CEO of The Housing Forum, chaired a discussion on how we can achieve a quality outcome through procurement.
2019
The conference in May 2019 and was attended by over 120 delegates, with speakers including Lord Best, Chair of the Affordable Housing Commission.
